What’s your favorite part of your job?
I like helping people obtain research for their business plans. Whether it is demographics, competitive lists, or industry information, I enjoy assisting people in pursuing the start of their business.
When you look toward the future of libraries, what are you most excited about?
I am thrilled that access to information has become more available to a greater number of people in alternative formats. I believe that trend will continue.
What do you value about SLA?
I valued being able to meet and learn from fellow specialist librarians.
What book(s) are you currently reading?
Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
What’s your favorite metro St. Louis area restaurant/food/landmark?
My favorite St. Louis landmark is the old water tower near the Busch Eye Institute. My favorite restaurant is Rasoi in the Central West End.
Tell us about a hobby you have!
I am an avid tennis player. I enjoy playing all over the St. Louis metro Area. My favorite courts are at the Highlands Tennis and Golf Club in Forest Park.
