Conference Dates and Format
SLA 2020 will feature three days of live sessions October 14-16. Each day will have live content from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. ET/ 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. PT/ 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. BST, including keynote presentations, interactive discussions, networking events, and live education sessions. All live sessions will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing. Select sessions will be rebroadcast at different times to accommodate SLA 2020 attendees from around the globe.
Prior to the live portion, SLA 2020 will “open” on October 5 with a slate of pre-recorded education sessions you can watch on your own time (“on-demand”) throughout the conference. During this portion, SLA 2020 will feature a few live events (awards and honors, roundtables, etc.). Attendees will be able to explore the conference offerings, including the exhibit hall, posters, and interactive features.
All session recordings (both live and pre-recorded) will continue to be available to attendees following the conference. Topics include: information management, data analysis, AI, knowledge management, library management, academic libraries, bibliometrics, big data, competitive intelligence, data literacy, data visualization, digital asset management, taxonomy, standards, archives, diversity, equity and inclusion, social justice and much more!
