This presentation is prepared by the librarian who works with graduate students at the College of Education. It offered a few examples of productive alliance between librarians and faculty members in supporting the research life cycle, fostering emerging scholars' identity, developing research skills and knowledge of scholarly information environment and communication. The author evaluates several iinitiatives: Literature Review Bootcamp, the literature review course, integrating the literature review design tutorial into the dissertation process, and other models of assisting beginning researchers with reviewing knowledge, topic formulation, and framing research.
