Interested in transcribing 19th-century papers that tell the story of America's first rural cemetery and North America's first designed landscape that was open to the public?
Then, join your colleagues from SLA New England for a Transcribe-a-thon with the Mount Auburn Cemetery
- Session 1: Wednesday, September 16 from 7 pm – 9 pm
- Session 2: Saturday, September 19 from 10 am – noon
Please note that you don't have to come to both sessions--come to one or both, whatever works for you!
We'll kick off with a brief meeting on Connect and an introduction by Meg Winslow, Mount Auburn Cemetery curator of Historical Collections & Archives, before logging in individually to transcribe documents from a collection chosen especially for our group.
