is a strategy and intelligence professional, who pioneered the discipline of law firm Competitive Intelligence nearly 20 years ago. Zena shares her passion for the legal and intelligence industries as a speaker, writer and a contributor to many different venues over the years, and has been a sessional instructor and a guest lecturer at library and law schools across North America.
Prior to her role at Elastic, Alysse Nockels
established the Competitive Intelligence functions at Tanium and McAfee/Intel Security, building those functions from the ground-up to world-class status. Alysse has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology, is a CI Fellow, held speaker and thought leader roles at numerous CI conferences, earned CIP-II certification, served as Chair on the SCIP Board of Directors, and is Pragmatic Marketing certified.Phil Britton
is responsible for strategic account management at Sedulo Group, overseeing research teams and projects across multiple industries. Phil has been in competitive intelligence for over twenty years, having started in CI and pricing in 2000 with Best Buy, where he had oversight of a team of 50 collectors. Phil went on to start the competitive intelligence function for another retailer, Ulta Beauty, in 2014. He is a noted public speaker on competitive intelligence topics.
