Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time and energy to lead within the Business & Finance community!

    On the Ballot:

    - Trena Trowbridge is running for Secretary
    - Allison Smith is running for Membership Chair
    - Willow Fuchs is running for Professional Development Chair
    - Dr. Mohammed Imtiaz Ahmed and Cynthia F. Kutka are running for College & University Business Libraries (CUBL) Chair

Remarks by Barbara Coffey, candidate for Chair-Elect:
“I am the Finance Librarian at Princeton University.  Also, I am a relatively new librarian having gotten my first library job in 2017, having worked on Wall Street in various capacities for about 30 years.  I have found SLA’s B&F group to be warm and helpful making my entry to the library profession in general and as a finance librarian in specific much easier.  My goal would be to be helpful to Dan and to be welcoming and helpful to members new and existing.”

Remarks by Dr. Mohammed Imtiaz Ahmed, candidate for CUBL Chair:
"Wish to enrich Noble Profession by inheriting the knowledge and expertise that are gained by serving in Chhattisgarh ( India ) since last 42 years, where world's most primitive Tribes still reside. To endeavor to strengthen facilities of safe drinking water, livelihood and formal education, adequate health infrastructure and right to live with dignity and ease".

Remarks by Cynthia Kutka, candidate for CUBL Chair:
"I am the Business & Entrepreneurship Librarian at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I manage the Library's commercialization information service that assists Georgia Tech inventors in the discovery and analysis of actionable business, market, competitor, and IP information. I have depended on my network of SLA B&F colleagues throughout the twists, turns, and changes in my career since I became a member in 2003. linkedin.com/in/cynthia-kutka/"

Remarks by Allison Smith, candidate for Membership Chair:
"I would love to help boost B&F's strong programming by engaging current and prospective members. Some possible membership initiatives could include more frequent networking events, virtual coffee break discussions, and reaching out to school programs to discuss the value of SLA and possible careers as a business information professional."

Thank you for participating in the vote!

Dan, Incoming B&F Chair, on behalf of the B&F Executive Board
