Please think about what you have done and fill out the form.  Then share it with others who have made partnerships too.

Do you know any librarians who were brave enough to go outside their library to form a partnership to support their business constituents?  Stories are needed about breaking out of our workplace silos and making it better for all involved.  Partnerships will be the theme of the 2022 Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) conference program at the American Library Association's (ALA) annual conference in Washington, DC in June 2022.

Have you worked with academic institutions, local or federal governments, state libraries, public libraries, or entrepreneurs?  Have you helped each other with programming, funding, collection development, training, staffing, or making a difference? We want to hear about it!

Please fill out this interest form<>.  If selected to be featured and unable to attend the conference in person, we will provide a virtual platform for your presentation.

In addition to providing a presentation opportunity, we want to work with all those interested in sharing their work to develop a slide for your community to be shown in the city hall, library hall, or community access channel to promote your innovative actions. BRASS will also feature you on our Twitter feed and webpage.

If funding is an issue, we encourage you to apply for any of these awards<>.

We will reach out to all those who we think may be a good fit for presenting by the end of September. We will reach out to all who are interested in having their work shared by the end of the year.

On behalf of the BRASS Conference Planning Committee,

    Kelly LaVoice
    Acting Director, Walker Management Library
