    Dear fellow SLA B&F Corporate Information Center Section members,


    A reminder that this year's Conference event for the Corporate Information Centers (CIC) Section takes place on Friday August 6th 12.30-1.30 ET (5.30-6.30 BST; 9.30-10.30 PST).

    Heidi Crowe, Director of Research and Information Services at Abernathy MacGregor, a leading strategic communications firm, will share with us how she seized the challenge of the pandemic to re-engineer information services at her firm to add more value and become a trusted partner to leadership - lessons that might apply to services in other sectors and beyond crisis situations.

    The session will be in the form of a fireside chat between us.  We would also be delighted to take questions from attendees as part of the session - or in advance.  Please reply through Connect or contact me through email/LinkedIn.

    Though I'm not a corporate librarian, I'm really looking forward to this event. I think in academia we often think about serving our students and researchers, but not necessarily about how we can become partners to university leadership. I'm very interested in learning about Heidi's experiences.
