Traditionally, the Southern California Chapter will have an event each year after the SLA Annual Conference where members who attended can share what they learned. This year, we're partnering with other SLA chapters in the Western States and hosting the event virtually to so we can hear from some new voices and reach more ears!
A panel of informational professionals and conference attendees will share their takeaways from SLA 19 in Cleveland, from lessons learned in sessions or workshops, to news from SLA headquarters, to experiences as a first-time speaker or attendee, and more. If you couldn't make it to Cleveland, this is a great way to tap into what you missed and stay in the loop with the latest in the information profession. We'll open for questions once the panelists present. You can also submit questions in advance -- just email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll make sure to address them in the session.
