    We have an immediate need for an Electronic Services Coordinator in our Los Angeles office. The primary function of this position is to assist the Senior Electronic Services Librarian and the research staff with the implementation, administration and maintenance of firm-wide electronic resources. Under the guidance of the Senior Electronic Services Librarian, this position will work with the research staff, attorneys, paralegals and assistants to coordinate the evaluation of new electronic resources, provide access to and training on electronic resources, and to troubleshoot problems and issues with vendors. This position will also be responsible for administering various library systems and for tracking statistics regarding the use of electronic resources. Under the direction of the Manager of Firmwide Resources, this position will assist with various technical services functions as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Under the guidance of the Senior Electronic Services Librarian, the following functions will be performed:

    • Coordinate product evaluation, testing, piloting and implementation of resources.
    • Work with attorneys, paralegals, assistants and research staff to provide access and support for their use of electronic resources.
    • Troubleshoot technical and access issues with electronic resources.
    • Work with vendors to implement and roll out new electronic resources.
    • Administer integrated library system and database tracking system.
    • Maintain contract, licensing and password information.
    • Compile statistics and user feedback.
    • Assist with Technical Services functions, such as bibliographic and serials maintenance, as needed.

     Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of experience working with electronic resources, preferably in a law library.
    • Demonstrated experience with databases, software applications and integrated library systems.
    • Understanding of data analysis and familiarity with Excel spreadsheets.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
    • Strong organization skills, adept at multi-tasking and prioritization.
    • Service-oriented, team player, with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
    • Keen interest in technology and innovation.
    • Four-year college degree is required.
