Hello, SoCal! I'm excited to announce our next chapter event will feature librarians who have very cool jobs – 10/16, 6:30pm at FIDM.
In a panel discussion, Tina Lerno will share her experience working at LAPL on the Digital Content Team, and what it was like to present at ComicCon about the comic book collection at LAPL. Simone Fujita will share what it's like to develop a zine collection at the Art Center College of Design, and how that role, and her librarian/archivist background, informed her transition into he current job as Bibliographer for the Getty Research Institute's new African American Art History Initiative.
A flyer with event details is attached.
