    About the Position:
    Directs the AMC Enterprise Library programs, inclusive of AMC Command-wide
    technical libraries across the Organic Industrial Base (OIB) depots,
    arsenals, ammunition plants; and all Army Installation Morale, Welfare and
    Recreation (MWR) libraries. The major tasks of the position are library
    system program management, strategy, policy, administration, consultant and
    liaison responsibilities, and career program management.

    Duties
    Responsible for the full scope of library operations, administration, and
    program management of the AMC Library System.
    Provides guidance, consultation, and training for a professional library
    staff across AMCs 12 major subordinate commands.
    Conducts staff assistance and site visits to AMC Libraries worldwide,
    analyzing activities, programs, process improvement and modernization
    opportunities.
    Serves as the AMC Enterprise Career Program Manager for the Library Career
    Training Program.
    Develops short and long range plans, policy, and programs for the AMC
    Technical libraries and Army MWR Library Systems.
    Functions as the HQ AMC budget manager for Library programs, including
    service contracts and subscriptions.

    Conditions of Employment
    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
    Confidential Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is required upon
    entering the position and annually.
    This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of
    10% of the time.
