Join the Business Information Finders (BIF) on Monday, October 21st and discuss: Nine Lies About Work: A Freethinking Leader’s Guide to the Real World by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall.
It’s an easy and lively read. A summary will be provided. It is not necessary to read the whole book in order to discuss the concepts and to share how it relates to our own experiences.
Some snacks will be provided. Please bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks in a sealed single-serving container (see below). Feel free to bring additional food, but it must be in a commercially-sealed, single serving container.
All are welcome, but the target audience is business information professionals. Come celebrate Fall with some colleagues and friends!
Please register to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, Oct. 15th, as spaces are limited. We hope to see you there!
Meeting Room food and drink regulations:Only manufacturer pre-packaged and single serving sized unopened food items (such as Chips, Cookies, Peanuts, Crackers etc.) may be provided and beverages must be single serving with closed or covered containers.
Please note the following:
- Raw food may not be prepared in the meeting rooms.
- All left over food and resulting garbage must be removed from the library premises immediately after the event.
