Local Business History Using Dun's Reference Book (Webinar)

Back in January 2022, Inside Adams published a post about a credit directory the Library had digitized and made available on our website – the Dun's Reference Books for the years 1900-1924. This August we are finally having a brief webinar to illustrate how to use them!

While this isn't a deep dive into the set, we will be providing a bit of information on how to use it and what you will find in it.  Are you…..

    • researching your ancestor's business?
    • interested in learning about businesses that were once in your community?
    • wondering about the company that made that thing you bought antiquing?
    • looking for information about that company you saw a stock certificate for?

If you answer yes to any of those questions, you might be just the person this webinar is for.  This collection may add just a little more to what you have already found out.
