Once you register I will reply with confirmation and send the address and directions. Location is in Santa Clarita, CA. 

Take note that this tour has limited capacity, so make sure you will be able to attend if you register. If there is a last minute cancellation or no-show, this may not give us time to fill the spot from the waiting list.

In the event there are more than 15 registrants, you will be placed on a waiting list.

When: March 9, 2023 @ 11am-12:30pm

Where: UCLA Film & Television Archive ***located in Santa Clarita***

Why: To give SLA-SCC members a chance to visit a new type of institution, networking, and enjoyment.

This will be a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of how a film archive operates, and the UCLA Film Archive is one of the leading institutions of its kind. As special librarians we are often interested in what it's like to be in different types of special libraries. 

There will be 15 people allowed on the tour. This will also be a great chance for networking with your SLA peers in-person, and to meet our the professionals at the UCLA archive.
