SLA-Southern California Community is hosting an online meeting on Wednesday July 26, 2023. We will be discussing volunteer and leadership opportunities in the SLA-SCC. Have you ever considered getting involved with your local chapter of SLA? Maybe you're a current student and recent graduate. Getting involved provides value to our community but also has many personal benefits for you. Personal benefits include leadership skills development as well as networking with career professionals in the region. It also just feels good to help out our community members to meet their professional goals. 

SLA-SCC had its first meeting in 1922, over 100 years ago, and was officially chartered by the SLA in 1927. We are continuing this tradition and look forward to many successful years ahead.
