“Sanitizing American Library History”: Article discussion with Wayne Wiegand Feb. 16th

In this program we will be joined by retired Professor Wayne Wiegand, an award-winning historian, to discuss his recent article entitled: “Sanitizing American Library History” that reviews the legacy of American librarianship “sanitizing” its history by emphasizing some facts while burying other unpleasant ones, particularly in the area of racial justice.  We hope you can join us for this fascinating program.
