As her year as SLA New England President in 2021 wrapped up, Edee Edwards signed up for another kind of leadership training. She joined the Emerge Vermont program, which trains Democratic women to run for office and win. Is mixing librarianship and politics a good idea? Come hear her story and reflections on politics in and adjacent to special libraries and the information profession.

Director, Pacific Northwest Chapter, 1997-1998. Co-editor, newsletter, Environment & Resource Management Division, 1997-1998. Columbia University Student Group President, 1989-1991.
