    SCAD Atlanta seeks a Special Collections Librarian to coordinate all aspects of special collections programming, including leading a robust program of artists' book instruction and outreach.

    In this position, you will coordinate exhibitions and preservation initiatives and be responsible for digital collections programming.

    The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and balance day-to-day oversight with longer term planning of all aspects of special collections, digital collections, and preservation. Experience in preservation and digitization is imperative. The candidate should have experience with cataloging and metadata creation. The candidate must have the ability to speak to groups, deliver classes, and conduct tours. A willingness and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment, and to acquire new skill sets to effectively perform job duties is highly valued.

    Requirements:
    - ALA-accredited MLS degree and an undergraduate degree in a subject taught at SCAD
    - Experience in special collections and with artists' books
