Health Science Librarians of Illinois (HSLI) and the Special Library Association Illinois community (SLA-IL) are looking for volunteers to be panelists at an upcoming virtual presentation. The theme of the presentation is "what we do to survive (and excel) in our organizations."

If you are an information professional who works in the health, corporate, government, museum, legal, or academic fields, you've undoubtedly faced challenges in how to navigate the changing priorities in your organization. Be part of this HSLI and SLA-IL collaborative event by presenting your strategies for existing and thriving as a librarian/informational manager in a profession setting. We look forward to hearing from colleagues who will share a sampling of the rich variety of work done by our two Illinois based professional groups' members. Presenters should be members of either HSLI or SLA-IL.

HSLI and SLA-IL plan to host this presentation on Wednesday, April 28, 12:00-1:00pm Central. This event will be free and registration will be open to anyone who wishes to join the session.

Please indicate your interest in presenting by Friday, March 26. You can do so by contacting Ramune Kubilius, r-kubilius@northwestern.edu or Dan Bostrom, dan.bostrom@railslibraries.info.  Include not only your name, but also where you work.  A decision will be made about a week after the deadline.
