    You have one more chance to contribute your expertise and knowledge as part of the Midwest's best!! 

    The 2021 SLA Midwest Symposium will take place virtually on Friday, June 4. You are invited to propose one (or both) of the following by submitting your idea by Monday, May 10th!

    This deadline has been extended from May 3. This event is not limited to those who are members of a Midwest community; anyone can contribute a proposal.

    We especially encourage presenters with an in progress or completed project/initiative, article/blog post, or shifted their career in some way to share what they learned.

    • Lighting talk (super-focused 10 minute talk on your topic)
    • Education session (30-60 min)

    Topics might include, but are not limited to:

    • Collecting/utilizing data
    • Evolving role of libraries
    • Information ethics
    • Copyright/intellectual property
    • Diversity, equity, inclusion
    • Pandemic and post-pandemic librarianship
