If you're heading to the MLA/SLA Annual Conference in Detroit next week, I just wanted to invite you to the SLA Midwest Meetup on Wednesday, May 17. This is the continuation of a long tradition and we hope that you will participate. Any Midwesterner is invited to attend for some lively conversation and a drink (or two). This event will be a cash bar. For those wondering, the Midwest is defined less by geography and more by a state of mind. If you feel Midwestern, chances are you are! Here are the details:
