Received my Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 1992 (studied abroad at Oxford University during the spring of 1992) and my Bachelor of Arts degree (double-major: Criminal Justice/Psychology) from Michigan State University in 1981.
During my 25-year career with the Tulsa Police Department, I created a Resource Center from scratch (beginning in 1994) which I managed as a solo librarian until my retirement on April 30, 2007. In November 2007, I began my current position as an Instructor of Library Services at Northeastern State University (the Broken Arrow Campus).
