Hey Everyone!
The University of Denver Law Library is seeking applicants for an Assistant/Associate Director. The Westminster Law Library has been through a period of significant growth over the past several years, and we seek a creative and innovative individual to drive forward our public services work, participate as an active member of our law library leadership team, and lean into the management of a bright and driven public services team. The successful candidate will hold an administrative title and faculty rank within the University Libraries series.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a passion for teaching, as we have a robust Certificate in Legal Research (CLR) program, which the successful candidate will teach in and oversee. (You can learn more about this program at https://libguides.law.du.edu/clrcertificate and via an article published by our director Catherine Dunn about it in LRSQ at https://doi.org/10.1080/0270319X.2022.2089809.) We are also planning a for-credit teaching pilot for spring ahead of a possible pitch for curricular changes in light of the NextGen Bar.
The job posting is available on the AALL job board (https://careers.aallnet.org/jobs/view/assistant-or-associate-director/69986915/) as well as Jobs@DU (https://jobs.du.edu/en-us/job/496525/assistantassociate-director-westminster-law-library). Our first review/best consideration date is August 14, but the position will remain open until filled. Note that only applications submitted online through Jobs@DU (www.jobs.du.edu) will be considered.
If you or anyone you know would be a good fit for this position, please apply! Feel free to contact me with questions.
Cheers,
Baylee Suskin
