    Bricker Graydon is seeking a Research Analyst to join its highly collaborative Research Services team.  This position can be hybrid and could work in our Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland or Dayton offices depending on location of ideal candidate.<o:p></o:p>

    This firm-wide role will provide timely research services, both legal and non-legal, to all attorneys and staff.<o:p></o:p>

     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  <o:p></o:p>

    ·         Conduct legal, regulatory, legislative, business, public records, and competitive intelligence research including sophisticated in-depth research and analysis using online and print resources in a cost-efficient, creative and thorough way<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Evaluate diverse information sources for currency, reliability, relevance and cost-effectiveness and select the optimal resources for research requests<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Attend Industry Group/Practice Group meetings to promote library services and support business development opportunities<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Prepare business intelligence reports and obtain other business information as required<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Create and maintain alerts for cases, news and matter specific projects<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Obtain complaints and other court documents<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Set up and curate daily news reports on key issues and clients    <o:p></o:p>

    ·         Assist with attorney and staff instruction in the use of legal research materials and services<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Create orientation materials and user guides to promote services and materials<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Promote the library's information resources, services and new products through emails, the intranet, library liaison opportunities and in person<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Maintain the library's intranet page<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Process library mail and print materials, maintain distribution lists, claim missing materials, and return materials to vendors<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Handle interlibrary loan and document delivery to expand library resources<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Maintain both the physical and virtual library collections for all offices including updating the library catalog and assisting with collection moves if needed<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Continue professional development through reviewing legal and library publications, participating in internal training, attending professional association seminars and meetings, and receiving regular training from vendors on new resources and developments<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Assist the Director of Research Services with administration of the department as needed<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Perform any and all other duties as necessary for efficient functioning of the team<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Possible travel to other offices<o:p></o:p>

    Job Requirements:<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Master's in Library Science or equivalent work experience<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Relevant library experience desired; corporate or law library research experience preferred<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Working knowledge of legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Strong service orientation with desire and ability to enhance attorney productivity<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Excellent oral and written skills and ability to think critically and creatively<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Competency to juggle multiple projects, demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Resourceful, flexible and welcoming to new challenges and changes<o:p></o:p>

    ·         Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively<o:p></o:p>
