When the requests and workload start piling up, setting boundaries is important for managing workload, relationships, and yourself within your workplace. Attend this session for a lively discussion with interactive scenarios about setting physical and emotional boundaries in the workplace without alienating colleagues, sacrificing yourself, or losing your job.

Learn from Your Failure and Build Your Resilience

Organizations and people are great at talking about their successes, but what about their failures? Many people fear failure because, let’s face it, we don’t like to fail! This session will take a look at some of the latest research on failure, how to pivot when failure occurs, what can be learned from failing, and how to apply those lessons to future situations. Failure can hold people and organizations back but it is also where valuable lessons can be learned, where change and growth can occur, and where a foundation for future success and resiliency can be laid. Learn how organizations and information professionals have encountered, dealt with, and grown from past failures. Attendees will also have an opportunity to share their own experiences with failure and what they learned and explore resources that can be useful in dealing with their own situations.
