    Hello all,

    Please join us for our next Professional Development Event, hosted by the Leadership and Management Division (but open to all). The event is scheduled for Friday, November 18th, at 1:00 p.m. (EST).  This time, we will be looking at journal retractions. Learn how the process generally works and how best to help your customers and clients as you navigate the "wild west" of our modern information landscape (when finding reliable and current information is more important than ever).  In order to get multiple perspectives on this issue, we will have a panel discussion.  Our panelists will be:

    • John Sequin -- President and Chief Librarian at Third Iron, LLC
    • Mohit Garg -- Librarian at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi
    • Patrick Franzen -- Director of Publications and Platform at SPIE (The International Society for Optics and Photonics
