    Hello SLA!

    I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed some summer fun.  Just a quick reminder that our next professional development event is tomorrow (July 18th) at 11:00 ET (10:00 CST).  Our presenter, John Antill is currently a Knowledge Manager at US Army Expeditionary Workforce.  We will be exploring the difference between Knowledge Management and Data Management and also exploring some examples of organizations managing information projects -- some with surprising success (Library preservation in Timbuktu -- not kidding!!) and some with unexpected bumps in the road (the US Army's launch of Office 365).
