About this Event

The Military Libraries Division is having their biennial Military Libraries Training Workshop (MLTW ) 2019 at the DoubleTree Hotel, (Crystal City) Arlington, VA, Dec 10-12. They welcome library staffs from the DMV to a FREE Lunch, on Wednesday, Dec 11th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in Lincoln Hall, Lower Level at the DoubleTree.

This is a great occasion for you to:

  1. Visit the very robust Info/Expo with a myriad of vendors you would like to talk to and learn about new products and processes; 40 + organizations at this Table Top Show.
  2. Perhaps meet up with former associates in the military libraries community
  3. Have a FREE lunch
  4. Bring a new book for the Toys for Tots (Books for Tots and Teens) booth.

Getting to the DoubleTree Hotel, 300 Army Navy Dr, Arlington:

  1. METRO to Pentagon City stop on the Blue and Yellow lines
  2. Take the free DoubleTree/Embassy Suites Shuttle from the Pentagon City Metro Stop; every half hour
  3. Or: Take a brisk walk from the METRO Stop, about 5 minutes along 12 th Street to Army Navy Dr.
  4. Parking available at DoubleTree, $19 per day.
