    Greetings SLA Michigan Community,

     I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. I would like to thank all everyone who completed our membership survey, we are excited to have some feedback and hope to use your responses to offer valuable programming to all our members for the rest of the year. Also thanks to SLA Michigan President-Elect Alex Hauser for administering the survey, I appreciate the hard work that goes into writing and sharing that document.

    While we still need to dig into analyzing the results, one clear takeaway for me is that our members appreciated the Zoom hangout session we held back in March and would like to see more opportunities to virtually connect. To that end, I am scheduling two more Zoom hangouts, which will be held on Friday, June 26 at 2pm and Tuesday, July 21 at 11am. The meeting invitation and password for the June 26 meeting are copied below. I will share the invitation for the July 21 meeting in early July.

    We also plan to offer virtual educational programming as well, although I cannot announce any information about those offerings just yet as the planning for them is not complete.

    I am emailing to share a reminder of our SLA Michigan Community Zoom Hangout this Friday, June 26 from 2-3pm. This is an opportunity to check in with our community members, share updates about working from home, and generally connect with each other.
