    "The United States Naval Academy is seeking a collaborative, thoughtful, strategic leader to lead the Research & Instruction Department at Nimitz Library. Located on the beautiful Severn River in historic Annapolis, the Naval Academy is a Middle States accredited, top-tier liberal arts college and service academy with a diverse student body and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.

     The Head of Research & Instruction is responsible for Nimitz Library's information literacy and research help services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and provide leadership to ensure the growth of a vibrant 21st century library that offers state-of-the-art information services to a premier undergraduate institution. 

     This is a 12-month faculty position with a 3-year renewable appointment, a highly competitive salary, and full federal benefits.  Applications will be reviewed beginning September 30, 2019, but the position will remain open until filled.
