VA and DC Special Libraries Association Family Friendly Networking Event
    Date And Time: Sun, August 4, 2019 10:50 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts 200 North Arthur Ashe Boulevard Richmond, VA 23220

Join the Virginia & Washington DC Chapter of the Special Libraries Association for a family friendly networking event which will meet at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA). This is an opportunity for parents and grandparents who may not normally make our social networking events to have a chance to meet and network with other librarians in the region. All are welcome to attend.

We want to welcome participants to come wearing the color purple (for SLA) or librarian/information professional themed clothing. We will have name tags as well.

The below schedule is intentionally split to better accommodate folks who may only be able to participate for a couple hours earlier or later in the day if necessary. Whatever works best for you and your family is okay.

Please note that the tour and open studio at the art museum are just events that happen to be occurring during our networking event. Folks can feel free to go to these events or to walk around the art museum themselves.

Want to find out where people are at? Join our GroupMe group for free group messaging that works on every phone: https://web.groupme.com/join_group/51700693/J4d9O92C. When you create an account, only the name and avatar you choose will be visible to group members.
