    Posting for a colleague:

The Army's Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC) in Huntsville, AL, is closing and must get rid of our entire print holdings. We're going to ramp up the effort substantially in the coming weeks, so instead of sending out regular excess lists containing tens of thousands of titles, I'm asking if any libraries have an interest titles covering engineering, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. If you are looking to build your collection in those fields, let me know and I will send you a list of our entire inventory for you to select from.

    Commentary from Gloria:
Please contact Greg directly. They have journal titles often going back to Volume 1, plus full runs of conference proceedings. NASA & local Universities have taken some materials, but much more remains.

To clarify, by law these materials can only go to a "municipal or nonprofit" entity. That includes Federal, State, and Local governments along with most nonprofits.
