Colleagues,   Read below and share this announcement with students and other qualified persons.   As I already mentioned in the headline, paid is a good thing.  I came across this posting by Richard Huffine in FedLib...sharing here. Look for additional postings of deadline for applications.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Library will soon be posting an announcement for Student Trainees (Librarian) at the GS-7 Level ($51,674 to $83,586 per year).

The positions may be full-time or part-time. To qualify for this program, applicants must: (1) be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree seeking program at a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis; (2) have a minimum cumulative (overall) GPA of 2.50 out of 4.0; and (3) be in good academic standing, and anticipated graduation date After December 1, 2021. These are Pathways Program positions with the potential for conversion to permanent employment upon graduation, if a position becomes available.

I'll post here again as soon as the positions are posted with the deadline for applications.
