The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), Center for Library Science (CLS) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Acquisitions Librarian. Candidates with acquisitions experience in government, academic, or special libraries are encouraged to apply.
This position will serve as an Acquisitions Librarian providing support in the management, coordination, and acquisition of information sources and data used by mission teams and offices for engagements. This position serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and supports the Senior Acquisitions Librarian in making purchases of legal, business, news, financial and other information and data sources, completing complex acquisitions of information and data for the agency while meeting budgetary targets.
