    Description

    Join the DC and Maryland chapters of the Special Libraries Association for dinner and a panel discussion with four medical librarians working here in the DMV. Our panelists represent a diverse array of medical librarianship, with experience from the federal, academic, and private sectors. Learn about their backgrounds, their current work, and their thoughts on the future of this varied and growing subspecialty in our profession!

    Anne Linton, of the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library at George Washington University, will be moderating the panel. Our panelists are:

    • Kristin Chapman at the Louis Stokes Health Sciences LIbrary at Howard University

    • Layla Heimlich of MedStar Washington Hospital Center

    • Joelle Mornini who previously worked with the National Library of Medicine's NLM 4 Caregivers project

    • Faye Williams of the Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health
