    Colleagues,  With C19 there is great pressure of medical and research libraries.  Here is a bit of History of NLM developed as a Public Health Library out of the Army Medical Library.  A new history of NLM is in press. "A History of Medical Libraries and Medical Librarianship: From John Shaw Billings to the Digital Era."

    New Chapters will have to be written showing to the history of medical libraries -  showing the support for extensive R & D in the search for a C19 vaccine and other remedies.
