The Military Libraries Training Workshop (MLTW) is the premier professional development training opportunity for Military Library staffs and their partners in DoD Industrial Base. This biennial Workshop is hosted by the Military Libraries Division (DMIL) of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). Dynamic programming for MLTW 2019 is by the Library of the Marine Corps Staff, Quantico, VA.

More information about MLTW 2019 is available at the following: https://connect.sla.org/military/events/mltw-2019

A student stipend award is available.

This award is targeted to a student in an accredited at Master's level Library Science/Library Information Science program.  The awardee must agree to give a minimum of ten hours of volunteer work at the Military Libraries Training Workshop and write an article for distribution in DMIL social media.  In return, DMIL agrees to waive the MLTW registration fee and provide up to $1500.00 stipend for the hotel and transportation to the MLTW meeting.
