    Colleagues,   An important part of attendance at a Workshop such as MLTW is the contacts you make through networking opportunities.  Lifelong friendships can be made and serving as a Dine Around Host or the Lead Dine Around Planner goes a long way to making this happen.

    At this time we are seeking a Lead Dine Around Planner.  See the info below and consider supporting the Military Libraries Division and MLTW by providing alternatives for in and out of town attendees.

    We are planning to have Dine Arounds;
    1. Early Arrivals Dine Around, Sunday, Dec 8th 6 pm at the Skydome Restaurant overlooking the lights of Washington, DC and Arlington, VA as the dome rotates on the 14th Floor.  This could be a bit $$$, but doesn't have to be.  The Dine Around Host DOES NOT HAVE TO PLAN this event.  This is just FYI.@ 2.  Tues, Dec 10th from 6 or 6:30-8:30 pm

    3.  Thur, Dec 12th from 6-8:30 pm

    The local Pentagon City/Crystal City has a plethora of restaurants in all price ranges serving all types of food choices.   The DoubleTree Hotel Shuttle runs frequently to the Pentagon City METRO stop where there are many eating places "great and small."

    In former years, the Dine Around Planner selected and tested 2lto 3 restaurants for each of the days, in varying price ranges.   A further requirement for a restaurant would be that they accept separate checks. We would need 4-6 sign ups to make this a viable dine around.  There will be further info provided with the sign up sheets and menus posted by the MLTW Registration Table.

    So if there are folks in the DC area who would be willing to be the lead/co-lead for Dine Arounds,  please contact Sharon Lenius   soon as possible.   If you have further questions about duties of the Dine Around hosts, don't hesitate to ask.

    PS   You don't have to be a DMIL Member to lead a Dine Around group!  Just be a friend!!!
