Colleagues,   A job posting from Cindy Shipley.  The first few lines seem to say it all....variety and as you read down the announcement....challenges.

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is recruiting a Supervisory Library
Program Manager for a multi-library system at MCB Camp Pendleton, CA, near
    San Diego.
This position oversees a Main Library, 3 Branch libraries (2 on board Camp
Pendleton and 1 at MCLB Barstow, CA), a Brig Library and the only Bookmobile
    in the DoD.

Position will supervise 3 other professional Librarians and oversee approx.
    20 Library Technicians.

Camp Pendleton offers Marines and families traditional library materials,
services and programs for children, teens and adults as well as a range of
Makerspace programming.  Camp Pendleton libraries are in the process of
transitioning from the Dewey Decimal classification for non-fiction to the
word-based Semper FindIt! classification system.  Branch libraries are
finished or almost complete and the new Pacific Views Branch library will
have a dedicated Makerspace.   The Patrick J. Carney Main library will need
extensive weeding before beginning the transition to Semper FindIt!
