    Hi Everyone -

I just wanted to send an e-mail to invite you and your staffs to participate via webinar in a free Department of the Interior Library Training Session entitled "Introduction to ProQuest's Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600-2000 Database" on Thursday, September 8th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET, part of our series of free training sessions available from the DOI Library.

The Women and Social Movements in the United States collection of products constitute a resource for scholars of American women's history. These primary source documents include digitized copies of rare and previously inaccessible materials. They are enhanced by scholarly essays from leading historians that illuminate key historical issues in those texts and provide entry points for accessing the collection. The database is comprised of over 170,000 pages from full-text sources, written by more than 2,700 authors. It includes items such as book, film, and website reviews; notes from the archives and teaching tools. Featured in this collection are a large number of materials chronicling the advances of the women's suffrage movement in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This training session, taught via webinar by a ProQuest trainer, will look at the materials found in the collection, review searching tips and hints, and point out additional support materials.

All that are interested are invited. Please go to the following link to request webinar registration information:
