Hi Everyone -
I just wanted to send an e-mail to invite you and your staffs to participate via webinar in a free Department of the Interior Library Training Session entitled "The Fish and Wildlife Service's National Digital Library" on Wednesday, November 9th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET, part of our series of free training sessions available from the DOI Library.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Digital Library is a searchable collection of selected images, historical artifacts, audio clips, publications, and video, most of which are in the public domain. The collection includes digital still images, offering a visual representation Service's mission; videos highlighting the work of FWS videographers who have produced outreach and instructional tools available for public access; and historical reports, brochures, texts, and oral history transcripts. Also included are podcasts and audio files. Fish and Wildlife Service Historian Mark Madison and Fish and Wildlife Service National Librarian Megan Burdi will examine the current holdings of the Fish and Wildlife Service Digital Library, look at plans to expand its holdings and review the best ways to search through this impressive collection.
All that are interested are invited. Please go to the following link to request webinar registration information:
