Duties:
- Serves as the senior staff advisor to the DTIC Administrator and Defense Research and Engineering, Research and Technology on the capture and dissemination of industry's research and development efforts.
- Serve as DTIC lead for Independent Research and Development work efforts, coordinates database design, re-design, and input; and provides support for dissemination.
- Work to implement DFARS 231.205-18(c)(iii)(C). To provide the analyses and information support systems necessary to collect and share operational requirements between all Independent Research and Development service partners.
- Drafts tactical planning goals and project plans for DTIC, as necessary. Plans, directs, and conducts investigations and performs analysis necessary to monitor and evaluate on-going management supporting database programs.
- Briefs the Enterprise Content Management Director, DTIC Administrator, senior executive service (SES) science and technology heads, senior military services officers, and senior managers and stakeholders within industry, as necessary.
- Provide recommendations to the DTIC Administrator, Defense Research and Engineering, Research and Technology and USD Research and Engineering, and other stakeholders.
