Catherine Lavallée-Welch is the University Librarian at Bishop's University, in Sherbrooke, QC, Canada since fall 2018. She has experience as an information professional and librarian in the non-profit, co-op and higher education sectors in Canada, Europe and the US. She has been active in SLA since 2000 and held several offices over the years at the Chapter, Division and Association levels, including the SLA Board of Directors (2015-17). In 2022, she is serving again on the Board of Directors as President of SLA.
