    Hi all -
Is anyone aware of issues with the NY website? I keep getting a red screen that says it's a deceptive site, OR I get a page not found. As part of the Students and New Professionals Advisory Committee I'm trying to encourage students to join a local chapter.

    Hi Kelly
Yes, I've gotten the "red screen" also:
Red screen shot with "Deceptive site ahead" text in white.

Website is displaying properly in Chrome (PC and Mac), Safari (Mac), and IE/Edge (PC) for me. It does not display properly in Firefox on Mac or PC. Here is what I'm seeing in Firefox:

Hi all, the website has been having issues....all year basically. This is across SLA, not just ours. SLA HQ is in the process of moving all of our websites onto a different platform, and we've requested to be one of the first ones over if possible. I don't have any information on when that will take place.

These issues have definitely been a bane in all of our work over the past couple of months! If you have anything that needs to be posted please email the webmaster at, and she'll post  when/if she can. If you need an event registration, please let me know and we can make a temporary one through our Eventbrite.

Thank you for your patience as this continues. I will keep the community posted on when the new website is ready.

    Hi Kelly,

After multiple SLA domains were victim to a large scale hacking in the spring, chapter websites were migrated to and some anti-malware software is flagging this this as a suspicious domain.  Ability to access is going to depend on the anti-malware software installed on the device.  I am able to access it (and other chapters' sites) from my phone but not from my work device.  In addition, the website continues to be attacked daily and therefore goes down at times.  HQ is in the process of working with units on a migration to a better and more secure server and we are currently migrating.

If there are more questions, please let me know.  Thanks!
