Video Interviews with the President-Elect Candidates | Written Interviews with the Director Candidates

New York held a great event with candidates this year - links to the recordings are in a post from the NY leadership.  The Fellows had one as well - links to the recordings are also available from that community.  With this great slate of candidates not every question or concern can be addressed in any one single event.
So if you are looking for more information and a better understanding of the candidates running for the SLA slate, the linked videos and shared document below may be a help.
The candidates put their thoughts and energies in answering these questions.  Each of the four videos is 20 min or less, and the document from the director candidates is an answer to one question from each of them.

We hope this is helpful to you.
    All the best, Clara

The PGM Network, a cooperative started by BIPOC SLA members, is pleased to share our in-depth video interviews with the President-Elect candidates. These conversations were arranged to be 15-20 minutes each, covering topics such as priorities, retention, inclusion and equity, and collaboration.*

We then asked the Director candidates if they would respond to the first of the four questions we asked the President-Elect candidates. Director candidates' responses have been compiled into a text document.**

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the candidates who are running for office. And of course, our gratitude and thanks to the candidates for their volunteer leadership, and for participating in this project.

Voting opens September 8th and closes on the 22nd.

*Interview questions and additional details about the project

** Due to the shorter timeline given to the Director candidates, not everyone was able to respond by the deadline. We will continue to add responses to the compiled document as we receive them, with a notation that it was received after everyone else's responses became public.
