For new librarians entering science/technology librarianship, to assist with the expenses of attending the SLA Annual Conference and accelerate their advancement through educational and professional opportunities within SLA.
In 2013, this award was renamed from PAM Travel Stipends to Louise Leckner Memorial Travel Stipends to memorialize our dear friend and colleague Louise Leckner, because she was so proud to be a part of this program which supports new librarians and deepens the relationships between those librarians and the PAM Division.
