Information Literacy and Instruction
Jeffra Bussmann
Jeffra is an Associate Librarian at Cal State East Bay, where she covers Chemistry/Biochemistry, Mathematics, and Physics/Astronomy subjects. She has taught information literacy and library research in a variety of math classes (math for arts and humanities, optimization, Euclidian geometry), chemistry classes, and a physics composition class. She is also interested in designing a 1-credit science information literacy course that could complement the chemistry, math, and physics curriculum.

SLA Involvement
Barbara Kern
Barbara has served as PAM Chair and on the SLA Board of Directors. She is Director of Sciences and Social Sciences at the University of Chicago Library. Barbara is also a Fellow of SLA (2022).
Ruth Kneale
Ruth has served as PAM Chair and on the SLA Board as Division Cabinet Chair. Ruth is the former Systems Librarian for the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope project. Ruth is also a Fellow of SLA (2012) and a member of the SLA Hall of Fame (2022).
John Kromer
John has served on SLA's Membership Committee, Students & New Professionals Advisory Council, and chaired the Partnership Support Working Group. John was also named an SLA Rising Star (2017)
