    Posted 05-02-2022 19:06

Participate in the October 2022 Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies (PHT) Meeting!

Share your Knowledge, Share your Experiences

PHT is a Community of Library/Information professionals who work at companies focused on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and related health sciences.   The definition of a community includes the idea of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals and PHT is exactly that; we exist only because we want to learn, share, network and stay informed.

The Programming Committee is in the process of creating an Agenda of sessions for the October 2022 PHT conference in Philadelphia.   We need you to share your expertise or learnings with the rest of our PHT community.  This does not have to be a long (~45 min) session; even a 10-15 minute update would be welcomed.   A project you've completed? Something new that you have learned?  How you have coped with remote working during the pandemic?

We all benefit from learning from each other.   While the Program Committee is working on creating specific sessions based on your feedback on topics of interest, we also want to have time for sharing, for community, for networking with each other and this is where we need you to step-up to become a presenter and share your knowledge at the meeting.

Please consider submitting a proposal for a presentation.   If you only have a partial idea, we're happy to work with you to formulate a topic for a Presentation.

This meeting is only valuable if we learn from each other.   Support your fellow PHT'ers by submitting your ideas, preferably by May 15th, to:  pht.sla@outlook.com

Another way you can be a part of the programming process is suggesting a speaker you would like to hear.

We have several topics that are a part of our suggested program ideas and we want to hear from you speaker suggestions or maybe you yourself or someone from your team would like to present one of these topics.  We'd love to hear it.

    Some of the topics include:

    • Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence use cases
    • Text & Data Mining – Application
    • Competitive Intelligence Data
    • Manufacturing Intelligence: Resources for manufacturing
    • Panel: How some people work remotely; how to manage colleague expectations; Working remotely efficiently
    • How to do newsletters that have value
    • Research Data Management Service, the next generation
    • Best Practice for Epidemiology Info
    • KOL Identification
    • Change management
    • Vendor negotiations

Again, this meeting is only valuable if we learn from each other.   Support your fellow PHT'ers by submitting your ideas (preferably by May 15th) to:  pht.sla@outlook.com.

We anticipate a great meeting and an awesome time reconnecting this October.  See you there!!
