    Research Services is Navigant's centralized research and reference library function.  The team provides secondary research that supports client engagements, current awareness, business development, competitive intelligence, M&A, and thought leadership for all segments of the firm.

    As a member of the Research Services team, the Senior Coordinator will primarily provide research related to Navigant's Healthcare segment.  The Healthcare team provides expert advice and services to hospital, health plan, and government health clients to address a wide range of business issues including market analyses, clinical transformation, strategy development, and business planning.  The Senior Coordinator will also provide research to support other practices and corporate initiatives as needed.

    Job Description:
    • Conducting advanced technical searches by identifying, analyzing, synthesizing, and delivering published literature and data to Medical Affairs (including HEOR), R&D, Clinical, Business and/or Commercial functions, using premium resources (e.g.: Dialog, Cortellis, Pharmapendium, Informa, Micromedex, QUOSA etc.)
    • Delivering training and orientation as assigned to the library portal's key stakeholders worldwide on key resources; contributing to the development and testing of customized standalone tools for the portal; participating in organizing vendor and librarian training for all teams and locations. Participating in measuring, use and uptake metrics for the portal and all key resources trained on
    • Contributing to the development, evaluation, and testing of library portal content and solutions.
    • Participating in trouble shooting issues with vendors and IT support assisting users globally in accessing the global library portal resources, including QUOSA in collaboration with Portal/ Technical Services.
    • At least three years of pharmaceutical or corporate library experience in searching roles.

    Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Librarian--Texas A&M University Libraries

    Reporting to the Dean through the Director of the Medical Sciences Library and under the guidance of the Medical Sciences Library Assistant Director, this position provides liaison services to the students, researchers, and faculty of Texas A&M University with an emphasis on the undergraduate and graduate biomedical sciences programs (BIMS) at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVM). This position serves as one of the liaisons to CVM and is part of a dynamic library team. The undergraduate BIMS program has the largest undergraduate population at the university and focuses on preparing pre-professional students for professional school including medicine, veterinary medicine, and nursing. The graduate program emphasizes biomedical research and offers masters and doctoral degrees. In addition CVM houses a highly ranked clinical veterinary (DVM) program including a full veterinary teaching hospital.

    Seeks a creative and service-oriented Bioinformationist to enhance the Health Science Center Library's (HSCL) existing bioinformatics and data support program, and to provide consultations, instruction, and outreach for selected basic sciences departments and graduate programs in the Health Science Center (HSC). In this year-round (12 month) tenure-track faculty position, the Bioinformationist develops and teaches courses and workshops and provides individual and group consultations related to bioinformatics, data science, and reproducible research methods. As a member of the Health Science Center Library team, the Bioinformationist provides information services in a variety of modes (in person, email, house calls), performs course-integrated instruction, and participates in the department's teaching program. The position is responsible for special projects as assigned, including new service development and current service evaluation. The Bioinformationist is also a member of the Academic Research Consulting & Services team (ARCS), an interdisciplinary, cross-libraries partnership. The Bioinformationist works collaboratively with members of HSCL, ARCS, and clients, and will be responsive to campus bioinformatics support needs that arise.
